Paper Making Course 

Three Fridays: July 17, 24, 31st @ 5-7pm

$180 (materials included) + Stripe fee 3.5%

Duration: 3 weeks (2 hours per class)

Class 1: Papermaking 101
In the first session, participants are introduced to the fundamentals of papermaking. You’ll learn how to prepare pulp using recycled and natural materials, including soaking, blending, and achieving the ideal consistency. The class concludes with hands-on practice forming your first sheets of paper.

Class 2: Design Techniques
In the second session, participants build on their skills by pulling sheets and exploring creative techniques. Experiment with embedding fibers, adding color, and incorporating natural and decorative elements. The focus is on developing consistency while playing with texture, color, and design.

Class 3: Pressing, Drying & Final Project
In the final session, participants learn how to properly press and dry handmade paper for the best results. The class also covers finishing techniques such as flattening and creative applications. By the end, you’ll complete your pieces and leave with a small collection of unique, handcrafted sheets.

All materials will be provided.
