It may feel a little early to think about the holidays, but that’s exactly why this is the perfect time to begin.
Join us for a cozy three week series where you’ll create a collection of handmade felt ornaments using needle felting techniques. Rather than making a single project, you’ll design and build a small set of ornaments that feel connected, exploring your own ideas, color palette, and style along the way.
We’ll guide you from concept to collection as you learn the foundations of needle felting, shape and sculpt wool, develop your designs, and finish each ornament with thoughtful details. Along the way you’ll also learn how to embellish and elevate your felted pieces, adding layers of character and personality to your collection. Whether you’re drawn to woodland creatures, winter botanicals, nostalgic holiday icons, or something entirely your own, you’ll leave with a keepsake collection that’s uniquely yours.
Each week you’ll head home with your materials so you can continue working throughout the series, making this the perfect fireside craft for the fall season. We’ll come back together each week to share progress, refine techniques, and continue building your collection.
No experience is necessary. All materials are included, along with a take home felting kit you’ll use throughout the series.
