Explore the art of landscape painting on a smaller scale using oil paints. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to simplify a landscape into essential shapes, build depth through color and value, and capture the feeling of a place through expressive brushwork.
Working from reference images, we’ll focus on composition, creating atmospheric perspective, and using light and shadow to bring a scene to life. The smaller format allows you to experiment with color, texture, and technique while building confidence with oil painting.
All materials are provided. No experience is necessary, and artists of all skill levels are welcome.
