Step beyond writing from your own perspective and discover the creative possibilities of writing in someone—or something—else’s voice. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore persona writing through characters from mythology and history, as well as animals, objects, and even abstract ideas.
Led by award-winning author Sandra Beasley, this generative workshop includes close readings of inspiring poems and prose, guided writing prompts, and opportunities to share your work in a welcoming environment.
No writing experience is necessary. Just bring your preferred writing tools—a notebook and pen or a laptop—and your curiosity.
