Explore the intersection of drawing and fiber art in this hands-on paper stitching class. Students will begin by developing their own simple design, focusing on line, pattern, and composition. From there, you’ll learn how to safely and effectively pierce paper and use basic hand-stitching techniques to bring your design to life.
We’ll cover a variety of stitches, spacing, and thread choices, helping you understand how each decision impacts texture and visual rhythm. This class is perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their creative practice in a new, tactile way. You’ll leave with a finished stitched paper piece and the skills to continue experimenting on your own.
