Scoop up some creativity in this sweet pottery class designed just for kids!

Using hand building techniques, each child will create their own ice cream themed pinch pot, complete with colorful “scoops,” sprinkles, cherries, and any imaginative toppings they can dream up. Along the way, they’ll learn the basics of working with clay while creating a piece that is both fun and functional.

Once our clay creations are complete, we’ll celebrate with a real ice cream party featuring plenty of toppings and sweet treats. To finish the experience, we’ll head outside for a special visit with some of The Grounds’ favorite animal residents.

A perfect blend of art, animals, and ice cream for a memorable afternoon of summer fun. Finished pottery pieces will be glazed and fired after class and ready for pickup at a later date.
