July 17 @ 9:30am-12:30pm
Pricing: $75 + 3.5% stripe processing fee
Discover the rich history and beauty of traditional Islamic geometric tile design through the iconic pointed star pattern. In this class, students will explore the balance, symmetry, and repetition that define Islamic geometric art while creating their own hand drawn design inspired by historic tilework and architecture.
Participants will sketch their pattern on paper, learn techniques for building precise geometric forms, then transfer their final design onto a ceramic tile using underglazes. Tiles will be kiln fired after class, creating a finished piece that celebrates both craftsmanship and tradition.
No supplies are needed. Each registration includes one ceramic tile for painting and firing. Space is limited.
*Members: Class is included in your membership.
