Explore the intricate world of mushrooms through the careful layering and blending of colored pencil. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to capture the unique shapes, textures, and subtle color variations found in fungi while developing techniques for creating depth, dimension, and realistic detail.
We’ll focus on observation, color layering, value, and texture as you study mushroom forms, from delicate gills and organic patterns to earthy surfaces and surrounding natural elements. This class is an opportunity to slow down, build confidence with colored pencil, and discover how small details can bring a subject to life.
All materials are provided. No experience is necessary, and artists of all skill levels are welcome.
