A quiet, expressive painting class working with walnut ink and white gouache to capture shoreline forms and the feeling of things found at the edge of water. You’ll explore washes, layering, and contrast as you build a coastal composition that feels soft, weathered, and a little bit unexpected.
We’ll lean into movement and simplicity, letting ink create the structure while gouache brings back light and detail. The result is a study in contrast, texture, and calm observation.
