Slow down and spend an afternoon studying the quiet movement and symbolism of koi fish through colored pencil drawing. In this class, students will learn layering techniques, blending, texture, and how to create movement and depth using color. Together we’ll explore the flowing shapes, reflective water, and vibrant patterns that make koi such a beautiful subject to draw.
This workshop is designed for beginners and experienced artists alike, with guidance on composition, shading, and building rich color palettes. Students will leave with a finished koi drawing and a deeper understanding of how patience and observation can transform a simple sketch into something luminous.
