Learn the fundamentals of jewelry making while creating up to two pairs of your own gemstone earrings during the allotted class time.
In this hands-on class, you’ll work with genuine natural gemstones while learning the basics of jewelry design and metalsmithing. We’ll cover different types of wire and metal, how to form and manipulate wire, and techniques for assembling polished, wearable jewelry.
Along the way, you’ll learn the language and tools of jewelry making, how to choose the right metal for a project, and foundational skills that can also be used to repair or repurpose jewelry you already own.
You’ll leave with up to two pairs of handmade earrings, depending on your pace, plus the skills to continue experimenting on your own.
All supplies are included, and no experience is needed.
