Bring an old favorite, a thrifted find, or a sweater that could use a little personality and turn it into something entirely your own.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to needle felt directly onto knitwear, building a design with wool fibers right into the surface of your sweater. You can work from an idea you bring with you or develop something as you go, from simple shapes and small details to something a little more unexpected.
We’ll cover the basics of needle felting onto fabric, how to build up color and shape, and how to create a design that feels intentional while still keeping the loose, handmade quality that makes felting so good.
No experience necessary. Felting materials and tools will be provided. Please bring your own sweater to felt. We recommend choosing a knit with enough structure to comfortably work into.
Come with a sweater. Leave with one nobody else has.
